CCL State College is pleased to offer the first public introduction to an important initiative on climate change that our local governments are undertaking.
Pam Adams, Sustainability Planner for the Centre Region Council of Governments (COG), will present information about the recently completed Centre Region greenhouse gas emissions inventory and the development of a Climate Action Plan that is in the works. Hear from Jesse Barlow, State College Borough Council member, and Carla Stilson, College Township Council member, who will offer their insights on the role local government can play to reduce GHG emissions and improve resiliency in our community. Following the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion. Bring your questions and ideas on ways residents of the Centre Region can work together with our local governments to create an effective community climate action and adaptation plan.
This presentation will be online on Sunday, June 28 at 2 pm. Click here to register.
